NEVER Use Beta Version in a Production Server

I really can't understand why some people are eager installing beta version of whatever they see, specially here in Iran. We were suffering a lot of troubles some days ago on a production server since the system administrator simply installed a beta version of a server software which the bugs were known but were declined by the developers of it. Specially .NET applications are huge fan of consuming CPU & RAM and making the production server stops functioning properly. PLEASE do not install the beta version in a production server, just for your testing environment. That's why it is called 'BETA'.
Wikipedia:
"A beta version or beta release usually represents the first version of a computer program that implements all features in the initial requirements analysis. It is likely to be useful for internal demonstrations and previews to select customers, but unstable and not yet ready for release."
